Progresso Recipe Starters Review & Giveaway

I am a member of My Blog Spark and this is my very first time getting to work with them! My Blog Spark sent me this awesome package containing 2 Progresso Recipe Starters, a set of measuring cups, a stove top spoon dish, a Progresso Mixing spoon and a $10 gift card to buy the meat with!! I love this package! And one lucky Raining Free Reader will have the chance to win one as well!!!

I picked the Crispy Garlic-Parmesan Chicken. This is some thing I have never made before and it sounded amazing! It came out super delicious!

Here is what you need

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts 

 1/4 cup butter, melted

1 can (18 oz) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ creamy Parmesan basil cooking sauce

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

2/3 cup Progresso® Italian style panko crispy bread crumbs

2/3 cup finely shredded Parmesan or Asiago cheese

Hot cooked pasta or mashed potatoes, if desired 

Step 1

Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with foil; spray with cooking spray. Between pieces of plastic wrap or waxed paper, place each chicken breast smooth side down; gently pound with flat side of meat mallet or rolling pin until about 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

 In shallow dish, mix butter, 3 tablespoons of the cooking sauce and the garlic powder. In another shallow dish, mix bread crumbs and cheese. Dip chicken into butter mixture, then dip into bread crumb mixture to coat. Place on cookie sheet.

Step 3

 Bake 12 to 15 minutes, turning once, until juice of chicken is clear when center of thickest part is cut (at least 165°F) and coating is golden brown. Meanwhile, heat remaining sauce until hot. Serve chicken with pasta and sauce. Sprinkle with additional cheese and basil.

This meal took only about 30 min to make! Yep, that's it! The kids and the Hubby loved it!

Glade Expressions Fragrant Discovery (BzzAgent)

 

 I'm a member of BzzAgent and was recently sent some Free item coupons for the new Glade Expressions^® Collection! I am so excited to share this with you!

The Better Chip Review

The Better Chip was very generous and sent me this awesome package to review including 4 of the Better Chip flavors, a cute hat and a really neat shirt!

The Better Chip is 100% natural, nothing genetically modified, no preservatives and no cholesterol. Seeing this made me a little skeptical. Crunching into the first chip completely change my mind! I was in love!

I started with the Jalapeno and Sea Salt first. I was so amazed at how fresh and full of flavor the Jalapeno had that I could not put the bag down! The Jalapeno flavor was hot but not overwhelming and the Sea Salt was the perfect blend!

Hey, don't blame us if your lips are on fire. We warned you. That’s what happens when you blend real jalapeños with double thick corn masa. Add to that a bit of sea salt and you’ve got a thicker, crunchier and ouchier chip that can take on any dip.

Next I tried the Sweet Onion and White Cheddar! WOW! The Sweet Onion is AMAZING! I think this might be my favorite of the 4! I paired it with a little salsa for dipping and my taste buds could not get enough!

Still don't believe us? It’s true. We blended real, fresh onions into our double thick corn masa and then sprinkled on some naturally delicious white cheddar. The result: A sturdier, thicker, onionier chip that can handle any dip.

Next up on my list of the Better Chip is Red Pepper and Salsa Fresca! This Better chip is super yummy. I tried the Red Pepper with a little guacamole. This is one of the best chips I have ever had! I loved it!

We're not gonna lie. We really did blend real red bell peppers into our double thick corn masa. And then gave them a happy dusting of salsa fresca. So strong, tasty and crunchy, you won’t have to worry about leaving chip stragglers in your dip.

And last but defiantly not the least,  I tried the Fresh Corn and Sea salt! This was the perfect snack when I had that salty craving! Im glad I had 2 bags because one just was not enough. This Better chip had the perfect blend of crisp and salt and totally satisfied my craving.

We may be a little crazy, but blending real, fresh corn kernels right off the cob into our double thick corn masa seemed like a better idea than cob chips. We could be wrong. These thicker, crunchier and sturdier chips are not only very tasty, they won’t crack under pressure when dipping.

I didn't put my name on the card because I like to make it a point to shake hands, introduce myself and tell the person what it is that I do. But the back of the card is completely blank, making it very easy to write my name on the back, along with my address just in case someone has a product they would like to send me to review. I love that the back of the card is blank with no advertising at all!  My favorite part was the shipping! I really have a hard time with waiting on some thing when I want or need it! The package came very fast and packed nice and neat!

QUOTE THE WALLS REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

I was given an awesome opportunity to do a review for Quote The Walls and I am more than just happy with the results!

I recently got a new living room set and it was totally missing some thing, but I couldn't figure out what it was. Then I met Rebecca and she offered for me to do a review with one of the vinyl words from Quote The Walls and I was super excited to try it out!

I have no crafting ability what so ever and I thought I was for sure going to screw this one up, lol! It was way easier than I ever thought it would be! The quote came with complete and super easy directions and the cute pink (my favorite color) tool for the job!

I decided to go with "Together is our favorite place to be" quote! This is very true. If I could choose to be any place, it would for sure be with my family! I picked the 14x16 in Metalic Gold. My living room set is Green, Tan and Gold so I thought this would be perfect!

First I set the quote out so it could get to room temperature.

Then I used the pink scraper to scrape across the words.

After getting my quote ready to put on the wall, I lined up a small DOT on the wall that lined up with the middle of the couch. I then tapped the quote over the middle of the dot and flipped the quote up to take off the backing.

I took my little pink scraper and went over the words so they would stick to the wall. After scraping the words I started to peel the paper off at a 90 degree angle, making sure that the letters were sticking to the wall. I had a little trouble with this part but only because I am not a very crafty person. I was trying to go a little to fast and had to slow down. After slowing down and taking my time, the letters came right off the paper and stuck to the wall.

After I got all the words on to the wall, I went over all the letters with my fingers pushing very lightly, just to make sure they were stuck on the wall. It looked amazing and I loved it! And to make it even better, I did it all by myself!

I added my photos back to the wall! I am so happy with the way the quote turned out! I cant wait to get all my pictures up! The quote has added a new personality to the room! 

A few of my family members have been over to visit since putting up the quote. They are all very impressed with the look and love it!
